Call for Chapters: New Approaches and Innovations in Public Personnel Management

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onur Kulaç, is currently editing a book on Public Personnel Management. 
 

Objective

 
Examining the public personnel management regimes and practices of countries from different perspectives and making comparisons based on different country practices are very important in terms of comparative public administration. In addition, including examples of good practices in this regard can also enable them to be transferred to other countries through reform and policy transfers. So, this transfers can be an important element in creating an effective, ethical, and efficient government and public administration. With this regard the main aim of this book study is presenting how developments have occurred in public personnel management systems and policies of different countries, their effects, contributions and examples of good practice.

The book will be one of the pioneering works in this field in terms of examining the effects of the systems, policies and practices regarding public personnel management and providing the opportunity for comparison. It also has a great significance in terms of providing information to researchers, students and practitioners about the public personnel policies, structures, tecniques and practices of countries and allowing comparisons between countries.
